We had a nice Thanksgiving here in Chicago and enjoyed having people over (that brought food with them!). It definitely feels like the holidays are here, especially since it is about 17 degrees and we have blanket of snow on the ground!!

Instead of submitting the family to the torture of trying to get a 2 year old to sit still in a photo studio, we did our own impromptu Christmas photo shoot at home this week! I finally have a semi-posed picture of both boys together - yay!

It is starting to turn chilly here in Chicago and the leaves are pretty much gone! I think winter will be here within a week!

The latest big event is that Jack rolled over last Friday! He has yet to repeat his marvel, but we are excited nonetheless! He is a big talker and loves to have a cooing conversation. He especially loves it when his big brother holds him - he thinks that is pretty darn fun!

Tom went hunting last weekend and decided to give the deer a break and let them live - I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that he has watched Bambi 742 times in the last couple of months!

Nate is doing well in school and starting to talk more. He is currently obsessed with a small Tonka Fire Truck (Bire Buck!) and even sleeps with it. His bed barely has room for him with all the loot he carries into each night!

I'm doing great - starting to think about how I am going to begin to expand the business further - I've been reticent about getting bigger, but I think now is the time! I'm also about to begin getting serious about shedding the baby weight - luckily my friend Lisa's wedding is looming in the distance and is a great motivator!
